A 14 gauge powder coated steel frame (standard on select Swim Spa packages) weighs more than many of our competitor’s entire spas!

Made from 2″ x 2″ steel tubing, this welded structural steel frame includes continuous one piece supports on all sides (as opposed to multiple pieces attached together). The steel is sprayed and baked with a special powder coating — similar to an automobile’s undercarriage — protecting it from rust and chipping. An insulated polymer is fastened to the base of the frame to protect your floor or deck surface.

ThermoSpas knows that a spa sitting on a 100 sq. ft. footprint, standing over 4’ tall and holding nearly 20,000 lbs., requires adequate support to protect the cabinet from shifting and the shell from cracking. This may be why our Swim Spas with steel frames not only last longer but maintain their beauty longer than any competitive brand spa.

The unique frame design on our Exercise Spas has evolved to such a high level of structural integrity and energy efficiency, we patented it!

The Exercise Spas (Aquacisor and Olympian) have a one-piece foam filled rigid plastic base that raises all electrical components 3″ off the ground to protect them and add an extra level of safety. The cabinet, with its clean polished base and elegant top rail provides an enhanced exterior appearance to complement any home. Add in 2″ x 6“ frame construction and you’ve created beauty, efficiency, and a cabinet that will last a lifetime.

A. STRUCTURAL SUPPORT: 2″ x 6″ vertical supports and 2″ x 4″ horizontal beams create a frame strong enough to support ten times the average spa weight. This design minimizes movement which prevents frame racking and assures longevity.

B. FOUNDATION PLATFORM: All spa components are mounted on a solid water resistant raised platform that provides easy access along with safety and cost savings.

C. PROPRIETARY POCKETS: Unique proprietary pocket design eliminates direct ground contact of all structural supports along with drain relief valves to eliminate corrosion. This helps maintain structural integrity and prevents frame from shifting over time.

D. FULL INSULATED BASE: A solid 3″ insulated base with integrated structural supports protects all electrical components, evenly distributes the weight of an operational spa, and adds to energy efficiency.
